GAS RUINING MY LIFE, HELP PLEASE
Hello fellow December group,
I am having horrible gas farts. My husband is so grossed out by my farts that he makes fun of me all the time. Since my husband laughs, so is everyone else. My daughter in law continually sends me so called funny "farting" christmas cards over the email. I've become the butt in of everyones jokes. My husband even said he wished I had not had the Gastric Bypass because of how gassy I am now. I cry by myself and wish I could be a hermit and live on an island by myself. I am using Gas X twice a day and take Beano inbetween that. I don't know what else to do.
Does anyone out there have any suggestions?
I personally am glad I had this Gastric Bypass nearly a year a go. But I am beginning to feel like I should live by myself. Does anyone have any answers? I really need your help on this one.

That's not funny I would tell my husband and family members right up front. ENOUGH of the laughing and funny fart jokes.
I don't eat enough to get gas but if I did I would call my Surgeons office and ask them what they suggest you might be able to take. Maybe you can take those beano tables.
Call tomorrow morning and ask. Your surgeons office is not going to laugh at you as your not the only one that gets gas.

I find that the certain foods that were gassy before have three times the effect on me now. They are hard to eat because I am embarrassed by the gas. It is not too bad at home but sometimes it can be. The only other thing that gives me gas is a lot of Sugar. I can eat it without too much problem with in a limit. But it does make me gassy. I also noticed that when I take certain fiber pills they are worse. I have to be careful wich ones I take. My Dr. said that sometimes when you eat too fast after having the surgery you will get gas. It is too much air in between bites. The faster you eat the more air gets in.
I hope this helps. good luck and I would definatly tell my family how much this hurts. You didn't have this surgery to be ridiculed. be Happy Be Proud!
