i started at 299 on 12/21, something like that. I'm down to 169, i'd like to get to at least 130, so i have to work on that... i'm just lazy and hate the gym. Anyways, point of this. I've always gotten hit on , even when i was a larger mammal, but now its like a constant thing. I can't leave my house with out someone commenting, and its drivng me nuts. I hate it, its skeezy, annoying and makes me uncomfortable. Anyone else feel this way?

I know you are feeling tortured by the attention, but believe me, as you get older.... you will miss it. I am early 40's and seldom, if ever, get that kind of attention anymore. I recently had an experience where a guy hit on me, in front of my current boyfriend, at our local pub. I take it all very light heartedly. I thanked the man for his attention, but politely told him that I am not available. It still felt good just to be noticed. I know where my heart is and so does my boyfriend. However, I am flattered by any attention at my age. I know these moments don't last forever and they are a part of life that should be enjoyed. I hope you can develop a thick skin and allow yourself to enjoy the attention. Consider it a compliment. Thank the person, but let them know you are not available. They will move on and you will feel "stroked". It can be a win-win situation, if you let it be. Karen G

Hi Mary- Congrats on your success so far! Well as for the man attention, I love it! It doesn't bother me at all. I get hit on alot and I never did before so it is just an ego booster for me. I just take it as a compliment. So I don't quite have any advise maybe just take it w/ a grain of salt and enjoy it! Kelly

Hello Mary, I am happily married but I am dying for someone else besides my hubby to hit on me. I even went out without hubby to an OH after conference party at a club a few weeks ago and no one even smiled at me. I don't know what it is. I am a very happy person and I smile all the time. Maybe it's the glasses? I have no clue. When I was heavy no one hit on me either. I'm glad hubby finds me pretty. Diana 379/194/?
