Do you have children? I had my kids hide around thehouse and tried to seek them out. It was a great way to interact with them when I was usually not able to get down on the floor and play. It also got me walking alot. You would be suprised at how many places kids find to hide! I Will Pray For YOu! So glad you made this decision! your sister in WLS Chandi

Hi Chandi, Yes, I have an 8 yr old that loves to hide from me. I don't know if she is playing or not but she runs and hides when I walk into the room or house. I can't wait to get down on the floor to play games with her. Thanks, JaNae

I walked back and forth from one end of the house to the other. I started about 2 weeks post-op just doing 5 minutes, then 10, 15, etc. One thing I found very helpful was to put a drink on the kitchen counter and every few "laps" take a couple of sips. At that point, that's about all I could drink at a time, and it helped to keep me from getting dehydrated, esp since I couldn't rehydrate quickly if I did. Good luck with your surgery! Beth
