Annual Check-up Scheduled for December 13th
I have my annual check-up coming up soon. My anniversary is actually the 15th, but my appointment is on the 13th. I am looking forward to spending a couple of days in Rochester, New York. I will be there on the 12th and 13th. I hope to get some Christmas shopping done. My reservation is at the Raddison on Jefferson Blvd. I am so excited, since this is my last required visit, I hope to make the most of it. Perhaps I will even have time to catch a Karaoke show that Monday night.
What a rush, this whole year has been. I mean, I feel like a kid in a candy store with my new body. Shopping has become fun again!!! I actually enjoy walking the malls for hours on end. WLS has been a miracle for me. My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner.
Seasons Greetings !!!
Cheers.

I hear you Karen about being a kid once again.
I love going into the different shops and looking at normal clothes and what I love even more is seeing a tight fitted top on me and I look pretty darn good in it
I love being able to go for walks with my husband without getting winded and out of breath.
I love having my sex life back and actually enjoying it. I feel like I did when I was 20 years old
I love having my self esteem back and being on top of the world.
The only issue I can say that I have had with WLS is my eating and that's not from the surgery but the person that had the surgery, ME!! but I'm working on that everyday.

Hey.... I kinda wish I had eating problems. ... but alas, no. I seem to be able to eat just about anything. I have to do portion control. Seems like your portion control is being done by your surgery, which really isn't such a bad thing. Over time, it will get better. Enjoy your prolonged honeymoon and the "new you". !!!

Hi, Karen!
I wish you well with your 1 year check-up. I'm sure that your surgeon will be pleased. I had my surgery the day after you and I enjoy my new body so much, also!
Rochester is such a neat city. I have a nephew who lives in Fairport, just a few miles away. We especially love the Lilac Festival.
