What did you do for Thanksgiving??
I went to work from 6am until 2pm and got to wake up all my residents and wish them a Happy Thanksgiving and then dress all my babies in their finest suits and dresses for the day. I even got my little 102 year old lady into a dress and everyone said to me the day before. NO WAY will Mary wear a dress. It was so fun being able to see them leave the facility with family members for the day or afternoon. Sadly some of them where left behind but the ones that where left we gave them extra hugs and kisses and watched the Macy's parade on TV.
Came home and spent some time with my dogs and Parrot (Alex) as they needed their mommy time and Thanksgiving dinners. Then it was off to my girlfriends across the street for a nice Thanksgiving dinner. My darling husband Ron joined us an hour later as he had to work also. Home by 6pm and in bed by 8:30pm as 4am comes mighty early in these hills.
That was my exciting Thanksgiving day. I won't be working Christmas and I'm kind of sad as I won't be able to dress my babies up and wish them a Merry Christmas.
