How many of you have plateaued??
Okay, I see several of us have plateaued. Me, I've stayed between 172 and 176 for 3 months. Most of the time, I'm fine with that, thinking that eventually I'll drop those last 15 lbs. I've certainly reached my 'health' goal as many of you have. I'd really like to be at a 26 BMI, which my surgeon says is 'ideal'.
I lost my weight really fast -- 100+ lbs in my first 7 months, and I'm considered a 'lightweight'.
So, how about you?

Morning Mary
I have been hanging around 166lbs but it's probably my fault for lack of food, water and not getting out of the house and walking. Right now I'm happy with my weight but when I get ready I'll drop more
I think we all need to take our scales out in the back yard and shoot them

Hi Mary!
I haven't posted on the Dec. '04 board in forever (holding head low, sorry!), but I was on a number plateau from August until about a week ago. I played between 180-185 on any given day. But my sizes continued to get smaller, so I didn't fret. Now, out of nowhere, the scale has started to go down. I am now at 178. For me, this is a HUGE accomplishment!!
You're doing great, Mary!! Hang in there. GO back to basics- protein first, get all your water, exercise, etc. That's what worked for em!

I'm still about Donna's suggestion to take our scales into the backyard to shoot them!!
And Megan, I think you're very right. I'm more back to the basics than I was. I was justifying eating 100% Whole Wheat Thins and Triscuit Thins, because I need the fiber. All this would be okay if I didn't eat 1/2 box in one day! I have to keep reminding myself that I'm a carbo-holic. Now if I could only really enjoy the flaxseed and prunes as much.....
Love you all,
Mary
I play with the same 3 pounds over and over - I am (as of this morning) 162 - going to 150. I'm not so concerned - I'm in a size 8 pants and medium tops and I feel good - but I would like to "get it over with" and get to goal....my goal was originally 140 but since I seem to be smaller than my weight (I must have a lot of skin or heavy bones) - I promised my mom I would not go below 145 - with 150 being my upper weight. If I'd stay away from crackers I know I would be able to get this last 12 pounds off....it will happen...who cares about 12 pounds anyway - thats nothing compared to the 121 pounds already off....
Hi, Mary,
We were discussing this on another post last week. I've been at the same weight for 2 months now, but my clothes are looser so I'm not too concerned. I've also come to the conclusion that I'm the "average" RNY patient, losing 70% of my weight. So if this is it, that's fine with me. I feel so much better than before.
