WEIGHT CREEPING BACK UP? HELP. WHAT'S GOING ON?
Granted I've been giving in to cravings and have been misbehaving before my period, but I tried to get it under control. I stepped on a scale the day before and discovered that I gained 2 pounds. Ahhh. Yesterday, one pound was gone. Yesterday, I thought I did OK, ate my yougurt for breakfast snacked on a couple of mozarella sticks, ate some vegeterian chili, another words, no major screw ups. This morning I stepped on a scale and screamed in horror. 218 AHH. I have not seen that weight in probably 4 months. I was already at 211. I am really bummed out. Even when I was not drinking enough water and exercising properly, the weight was not creeping back up. Quick, I need to be kicked in a head. Are any of you guys having the same problems. I only lost 60 lbs to begin with.
Don't freak out yet I sometimes climb back up to 169 and then BANG I'm back down. One day it even showed I was up to 172 and I upped my water in take and it came back down. I think it's what we eat. Maybe to much salt in take the day before.
I don't have this problem as all my plumbing is removed but some ladies bloat around that time of the month.

Please don't feel like the lone one here... I have been on this major plateau for atleast 3 months now. And in this plateau of not losing below 179, I have gained and lost the same 8-9 lbs over and over again... probably to ta total of about 20 lbs worth. While it is discouraging, I notice too that if I have seafood (especially crab legs) the salt content causes me to gain several lbs. Plus with all the stress I've been dealing with of late, and not being able to get to the gym, I'm sure that has contributed.
Since things are finally starting to level out for me, Monday is 'another' new start for me... Upping my protien again with protien shakes, starting back to the gym atleast 4 days per week, and upping my fluids. Maybe in getting my mind back right will get my body back to doing what I want it to do. I still want to lose atleast another 14 lbs, and preferably another 24 if I can do it. I'll just have to get back to basics...
Hugs,
Susan
