How much can you drink?
Hi everyone! At about 10 months post-op I'm curious as to how much liquid we can drink. I can eat 1/4-1/3 cup of food per meal (depending on what type of food it is). Does the same apply to liquid intake? I've noticed that if I try to drink more than 8 oz. of water in a sitting, I get heartburn. Is this normal? I strive to drink at least 32-48 oz. of liquid daily. I also make sure that I wait 30 minutes before and after meals.
I don't find any limits on liquid. It goes right through. I have had three coffees, each 12 oz, already this morning. I am now working on my first 24 fl oz bottle of water. I tend to drink more than 80 oz of water every day, without difficulty.
I stop drinking 15 minutes before mealtime and resume 30 minutes after meal time.
Guess we are all slightly different.

Oh gosh.. I drink and drink. lol Liquid goes right through me. I usually drink 20-30 ounces within an hour of getting up in the morning. During the day I usually get in another 60-90 ounces (or more).
