Hello to all I would just like to know if there is anyone out there who maybe has or had an ulcer or throwing up? I have been throwing up every day I am not over eating, or eating to fast. Also how much should a person who is 8-9 months should be able to eat? Does anyone know what could be wrong? I go for an upper Gi next Tuesday. Any feedback would be apperciated! Thanks for caring! First, I hope your pouchie is feeling better... I have gotten sick if I forget and overeat but it sounds as if you have something the Dr. can take care of. Let us know if they find anything. Where did you have your surgery? Get better! (((hugs)))) Judy

Best to let the doctors diagnose. It could be many possibilities. Only the scope can tell for sure. Some of the possibilities are: Hiatus Hernia Peptic Ulcer Stricture Gastric Reflux damage to the esophogus Eating too fast, after Gastric Bypass Over-eating after Gastric Bypass Eating foods rich in fat, sugar or sugar-alcohols, after Gastric Bypass I hope they resolve this for you and that you are feeling better soon. A stricture is scar tissue that forms around the opening of your pouch. The scar tissue becomes thick and closes the opening of your pouch so no food or even liquid can get in. It is easily fixed by stretching the opening with an endoscopy tube. Donna
