Photos taken as Katrina approached the coast

I had to share these with everyone seeing that Katrine touched so many of our lifes. I have been watching the CNN news since Katrine struck down. The pictures of breath taken. http://photobucket.com/albums/y52/Donnachu/Katrina/?sc=6 Like my sister said to me when she mailed them to me. Pretty pictures but so sad what it did. I wish sometimes I would have lived closer so I could have opened my home and heart to some of these people who lost everything. It makes you be thankful for what we have every day. I even saw on a talk show the other day where this one guy was giving clothing away and he was making sure that even the obese people would get clothing as he said so many obese/large people where without clothing. I just gave all my clothes away to a womans shelter. Donna

Hi Donna, Thanks for sharing those photos of the hurricane. They were incredible,however your new photo is awesome as well!! You look great! What an accomplishment! You should be so proud of yourself! We indeed have so much to be thankful for! Each day is truly a gift to us and I am blessed to hear stories of people like you who think of others.(giving your clothes to a women's shelter)We can help those close to us as well as giving our prayers for the hurricane victims.May God bless you. Per Snopes.com (http://www.snopes.com/photos/natural/storm.asp): "These images are actually photographs of tornadoes taken by storm chaser Mike Hollingshead in southwest Iowa in late spring 2004. Most of them are viewable on the 2004 Digital Photos section of his web site (scroll about halfway down the page)."

ALRIGHT!! I finally made it back here. For some reason I could not get to my favorite forum I'm sorry for posting these pictures but my sister sent them to me and someone sent them to her telling her they where from Katrina. Thanks for getting me straight. Donna

Hey Donna.. Sorry, but those are not of Katrina. Not even pictures of a hurrican. You can go to snopes.com and look them up. They have been circulating for several years now. Kathy
