I had my nine month check up today. I actually weigh less then what I thought! Drumroll!! I am at 136 lbs. I'm down 102 lbs! YEAH!!! I never thought I would see the Century Club! I thought I was about 139 lbs, which I was thrilled with, but this is even better!! He did say that my Lipids were a little high, but nothing to be concerned about. Have any of you had this happen? I know that is because of losing weight so quickly, but it stills makes me a little nervous. He told me not to worry about it. How did all of your nine months check ups go? Just wanted to share! Take care! 238/136/Goal 120 lbs

Kelly, I just read your profile. 180 lbs, that's amazing! You are doing great. You should be very proud of yourself! You look great too! My job was a little easier than yours. I only had about 100 lbs to lose. I am in awe of people like you who lose more than 150 lbs. Congratulations to you!! Mindy

That's wonderful I have not been back to my surgeon since my 6 week check up Don't think my insurance will cover him either as they refused to pay him for doing the surgery. They claim it was never covered but they approved it Donna 338/183

*HIJACK* Omg, Donna...that's horrible. So how much is the hospital/surgeon charging you? WIll they make you responsible or are you fighting the insurance. If you or your surgeon have the approval letter fromt he insurance...get yourself a lawyer and fight, fight, and sue them for mental anguish while your at it.... and also for money for your lost doctor visits, etc. STICK IT TO THEM. Dr. Koren is a wonderful surgeon. He charged $6,000.00 but when the insurance company said they would only pay $1,400.00 then he wrote the rest off and took the $1,400.00 in full payment as he knew I went through hell and back to get this surgery. Then the insurance company demanded their money back and my surgeons office had to give it back so I was stuck paying the $1,400.00 I don't really have that kind of money to just dish out but I put it on a credit card My lawyer who fought for me to get approved for WLS sent in a letter on my behalf and I'm going to make copies and my husband is going to talk to his HR. I went through so much with this insurance company and won. I thought I was through with them for GOOD but they have to come around and show their ass once again. Donna 338/183
