I could benefit from some guidance on my eating. I use Fitday.com and my carbs are too high. I am afraid to remove too much food, for fear I will find myself hungry. However, I feel that I eat too much. It would really help me to know what others are eating in a day..... Morning: 8 oz 1% Milk with 1 scoop of Vanilla Very Berry Protein powder (20 g) 12 oz coffee with splenda and creamer 1 med whole wheat bagel, with 1 oz sliced swiss cheese. (1/2 for Brekkie and 1/2 for Snack) 1 - 500 ml bottle of water Lunch: 1 packet Cream of Chicken cup a soup 1 cup of chunks of watermelon 1 rice cake - buttery popcorn flavoured 12 oz coffee with splenda and creamer 1 - 500 ml bottle of water Afternoon: 1 - Protein Plus Power Bar - Vanilla Yogurt flavour (24g protein) 1 - 500 ml bottle of water Dinner: 1 - 4 oz chicken piece (boneless / skinless / breast) 1/2 cup frozen kernel corn 1 - 500 ml bottle of water Evening: 2 - 500 ml bottles of water with Crystal Light (at Karaoke tonight) Thanks, Have a great day. I had a bottle of Isopure Zero Carb for breakfast. I'm not much on chewing things first thing in the morning. 160 cal/40 g protein Snack was 1 serving of microwave pork rinds (thank you bariatriceating.com) 130 cal/23 g protein Lunch was 1-1/2 cups Chili Magic chili with ground beef in it. 360 cal/36 g protein Snack was 8 Joseph's sugar-free pecan shortbread cookies (also from bariatrceating.com) 152 cal / 2 g protein Dinner: not sure as yet. I'm up to 800 calories for the day so far, 101 g protein. I do have a pot of ground beef mixed with my first batch of spagetti sauce from this year's tomatoes, so I probably should eat some of that. I have a box of Dreamfield's pasta sitting there waiting for me to try. I also have some watermelon at home that I should eat. Hoped for calories at the end of the day is 1100-1200. I was keeping it at around 1000 and the surgeon said that wasn't enough each day. I've never lost weight if I got over 1500 cal, so I don't want to go too much higher. Hope this helps, Sue O. 305/268/208/150???

Karen, Here is what I did today, I hope this helps you. Breakfast: Protien shake (35 grams protein) Am snack: grapes Lunch: Salad w/ turkey (9 grams of protein) Afternoon snack: cheese stick (5 grams of protein) 1 cup Mootopia (14 grams of protein) Dinner: 2 oz. Hamburger steak w/ onions, 1/2 of a small baked potato.(This was so good, I haven't had one in months) (13 grams of protein) PM snack: Protein Pudding (20 grams of protein) That makes my protein total 96 grams, and my calorie total 677. I really don't think that I"m eating enough and I should up something but I'm really worried about doing that right now. I've been having terrible carb cravings and I'm really trying to limit what I put in my mouth. Take care, Loni 237/143.5/140 3.5 lbs. to goal
