Hi Just a few questions for old timers. I have not lost any thing in about 4 months. I have not gained an ounce either, I have lost 100 pounds. Had surgery on Aug 16 last year. I feel great no problems .I have been eating more than I should about a cup at meals and have been drinking with meals alot more. I was wondering is it posible to get back on track after staying the same for so long ? And streching my pouch out. I have always taken all my vitimans at least, But my work out has stopped for a few months due to getting some corn like things on my one foot. It stopped my walking and running but I can start back soon because Doctor has fixed me up good as new so I know that will help. I would have had this surgery just for a 100 pounds because of how wonderful I feel but I know this was a major thing and can not be happy when I have 70 to go. Any help will be great Mary Jo

Hey Mary Jo, Did you mean to post this on the December, 2004 board? We are 8 mos out, you are a year out... For what it is worth, I'm only losing a pound a week these days... J.J. Lap RNY 12/21/04 311/280/184/164 **20 pounds to GOAL!** No complications, very happy!

I am trying to break a stall right now. Just added back a protein drink to my early morning routine and increased my daily exercise by 1/2 walk in the am and 1/2 walk in the pm. This, on top of my daily gym routine. My trainer indicated that you have to change your routine slightly, every 3-4 weeks, to keep the loss going. Increased protein, increased water and increased exercise made a difference for me. The surgery provides you with the tool, but you still have to do all the work. Just find a routine that allows you to remain satisfied, while consuming less calories than you are burning on a daily basis. Good luck Karen G 294 / 206 / 1??? (7 pounds to Onederland !)

Hi Mary Jo! I am so glad you posted to this board. I thought for a moment that I had inadvertaently switched to the WA state board, LOL! I currently live in Lakewood and am moving to Fircrest in Oct. I am eight months out and my weight loss has slowed down considerably. I just moved to the Tacoma area about two months ago and joined the YMCA (I go to the Lakewood branch) and my weight loss really picked up. I lost another 20 lbs in a pretty short amount of time. Then I quit going about 3 or 4 weeks ago and my weight loss has once again stalled. It is so easy to get away from our good habits. Also, just last night I went to the store and bought some ginger Albacore Tuna steaks. They are the presealed, precooked variety and have 170 calories and 34g of protein. It is the right size protion and very yummy. Oh! Not to be a downer BUT.....drinking with water will kill ya! Well, not really but you CAN and will gain all of your weight back by doing this. This is what happened to someone I know! Torturous thought!!! HUH??? I would love to get together with you sometime or chat on the phone. I am a stay at home mom. I have yet to plug into any support groups here so am looking to make wls friends for accountablity and such! Molly 252/170/152
