Who already knows they need plastics?
I definitely do! For me, it is my stomach. It is really a problem for clothes. In tops I can wear a Large or X-Large now; but pants I am still quite comfortable in an 18W - working my way down to a 16W. I have started looking into plastic surgery and I am thinking about scheduling my first consulation for December.

I understand what you all have already said.
My arms look like bat wings, my butt dropped to my upper thighs, my stomach hangs, and my legs look like melted candles. I exercise a lot but it doesn't seem to be helping all that much.
I am in a size 12 and have 47 pounds yet to go.
I haven't had any rashes so I wonder if insurance will pay for my plastic surgery? What do you all think? How would you go about proving that the plastic surgery is needed and not just for cosmetic reasons?

47 pounds till I reach my goal of 140 pounds
oh Laura I know my arms are awful I will never wear sleeveless! Thank God summer is almost over soon. I even have to watch how short my short sleeves are. But I've lost over 175lbs that is alot of skin that has no place to go but dowwwwwn
My bariatric surgeon says after I reach 185lbs which is his goal for me, then he speculates that there will be anywhere from 15-30lbs of excess skin and then I can consider ps. Definatly wants us to wait until we are 18 mo out because we are still losing weight.

I think about it daily. I need my arms, boobs, tummy and thighs done. In clothes, I look pretty good. Naked, I scare myself.
The other day I was happy houring with a guy friend who thinks I look like the bomb. I was laughing that some guy wa****ting on me at the juke box. He said, "Melissa - all these men are looking at you. They want to see what's inside those clothes."
I cringed because I know all too well...hidden bat wings, shrunken boobs swimming in great-shaped bra cups and a super flabby tummy, cellulited fat thighs and back-fat rolls held in tight by support hose. hahha
I doubt anyone would enjoy their peek inside these clothes!
I know it could be a LOT worse skin-wise for me, but I am like you and everyone else who posted - the excess skin is a real downer. I am SO THRILLED to be smaller and more importantly more healthier - so it is totally worth it. I just wish the skin problems weren't such an issue for all of us.
We spend so long loathing ourselves because of our excess weight. We finally take charge, have the surgery and have amazing results with losses. Yet, now we deal another self-esteem issue of loose and excess skin. Just kinda hard to take sometimes. I think we all can agree.
Anyway, blessings to you all!

HI... THE ONLY THING THAT I CAN SEE MYSELF DOING AT THIS POINT IS THE ARMS... MY ARMS ARE VERY BAD... AND I HAVE TO WEAR 3/4 SLEEVES NOW.. THE ROLLS OF SKIN ARE REALLY STARTING TO FALL DOWN AROUND THE ELBO.. LOOKS BAD... I WANT TO BE ABLE TO WEAR SHORT SLEEVES AGAIN SOMETIME...
OH EVERYTHING ELSE IS A MESS TOO... BUT THE ONLY THING THE WORLD CAN REALLY SEE IS MY ARMS.. SO THAT IS IMPORTANT TO ME.. HUBBY DOESN'T HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE SKIN ISSUE... AT LEAST AT THIS POINT HE SAYS HE DOESN'T...
TIME WILL TELL FOR ALL OF US....
