Lost my Grandmom of 92 yrs old
Hello Family,
yesterday, I love my paternal grandmother of 92 yrs old. I will be traveling to Harrisburg, Pa on Wednesday to put her to rest.
my grandmother was a school teacher from the hills of bluefield, west virginia. I guess that makes me a hillbilly!! There is so much I can say about her.
But instead, I'll share the details of her death, may we all get to go like this.
She was on a cruise with all of her children and some of her grandchildren. My dad came home and called me to let me know that while my grandmother had a good time on the cruise. ON her way back to Harrisburg on the Greyhound, she took a nap and woke up in heaven.
While this freaked my aunt out....what a way to go for my granny. She was in possession of her full mind and faculties...til the end.

I just started a job in an assistant living home and I love my job but my heart breaks when you talk to some of these people and they tell you that this is NO LIFE to be stuck in a home and the only thing you look forward to is eating breakfast, lunch, dinner and then bed time.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I am with you and your family in prayer. I definatly agree that she sure did go a beautiful way. She was able to see family and spend true quality time with them before she passed. It sounds like she went peacefully as well. That is a great story of a peaceful send off. No pain and blissfully happy!
I will continue to pray for you as I know from experience being close to my grandmather before she passed on that you will need them for longer than just this week.
