CHICAGO ANYONE? (An open Invitation to FUN)

I have hoped and dreamed that our December 2004 Crew, can somehow get together one day. Our Anniversary (1 year) is in December, and I can only hope that by then, we can work on something that will fit everyone's schedule. It would be a shame that we didn't do NOTHING... because I see other Message Boards' get together for their 1 year. I have been pushing, I know, but I love you guys, and we are 'falling off a bit', and I dont' want us to. So, here is a plan: 1. Please e-mail at least 5 other December Crew members, you HAVEN'T SEEN ON THE BOARD LATELY, and tell them you miss them, and for them to come back and update us; 2. Try to think of something we can do, collectively, for our 1 year, whether it is before/after; 3. Try our best to PARTICIPATE OURSELVES, at least a few times a week (or everyday, like some of our die hearts!), and 4. Try to keep in CLOSE touch with each other about our experiences, because it is very helpful for us to work together... no matter how far 'out' we get... we only have each other to match with! Now, as for my invitation: If ANY OF YOU WILL BE IN, OR NEAR THE CHICAGO AREA THIS SUMMER, OR AFTER, PLEASE LET ME KNOW. I have an extra room, plenty of protein, and a big heart, as you can see. We can work something out if you have a 'crew' coming, as I live near Midway Airport, and there are 1,000's of inexpensive/expensive hotels. I just want to keep up, and see you guys! It is my open invitation to fun, and I hope to see others follow suit, because I TRAVEL A LOT!!! Would love to see ya! *And Ron, I'm as good as there baby!!! Let's all post up now! Oh Vera this does sound wonderful. However I have already made plans with the women of the Over Fifty Forum (OFF) to meet in New Orleans in January for a week. We formed a group while a bunch of met at the New Jersey ObesityHelp.com conference in May, called the SOS. Slightly Off Sisters. We have 22 women going and we have our hotel reservations (at a big discount as this is called a reunion and we got a great corporate rate), many have their plane reservations too. We have a memeber who lives in NO and she is checking out various activities for us to do, but the true essences of this get together is to meet and bond with those people we chat with on line each day. We support ourselves so well. The group has members in various stages of the journey, newbies to others 2-3 years out. I wish you well in planning the December crew visit. Hope that you get a super response and that people realize the joy and benefits this meeting will bring. Monica
