Checking in
Hello all it is so wonderful to see all of the happy posts in our 7th month post op period. I am stuck at 170-180 happilly. I started at 273 so I am fine with this. My pcp told me before surgery that my lowest weight would be 160 - 170 because of my build. I'm still not sure of all of the attention yet. I kinda liked being left alone, but didn't realize it till after the weight was gone. My hubby loves the new me! One thing though -- I have no butt!! I have never not had a butt..lol Well I must get going, we are going to the movies.
TTFN,
Michelle
Well I would rather not have a butt than have that 100 lbs back on me! Congrats on the weight loss! I have started to have fun with the hitting on me thing. My husband and I joke about it and he loves the fact that they don't get any attention back from me. As a matter of fact it is more the younger guy****ting on me. I got carded for a lottery ticket the other day. Learn to joke about it, I noticed it helps a bit.

I'm at 180 (from 280) not stuck but grazing more than usual so not loosing as quick. I'm only 5'4" (on a good day if the wind blows the right way) so I probably have between 40-30 pounds more until goal. I figure at between 140 - 150 pounds would be good, but I am waiting to see. Would be interested in any information to firm up - getting a little saggy here
Okay this is what I do to firm up. 90 sit ups a night. 30 for front, and 30 per side. I also do 5 lb weights for my under arms. Two reps of 15 on each arm. You know when you sit indian style and put your elbow up to your ear and bend your arm down behind your head, that is what I am talking about with arms. It actually helps until you lax off, then the flab starts to come back. Make sure with situps that you only do crunches. I do 15 on each area then arms and then the other 15 on each area and then my last arms thing. It takes a few minutes and helps a lot. I am lazy so when I can do something that minor and it makes a difference I am happy. You might also look into joining a softball league or something, that helps too.
