Heather, Have you tried eating fish? I find that fish is generally very easy to get down. I order it just about all the time if I eat out because it is safe for me. Also, have you considered supplementing your protein with shakes? I hope you are feeling better soon. Take care, Mary 302/204/1??

Heather, Hope you get to feeling better soon. It takes a while to recover from gallbladder surgery and an adjustment to eating protein with some fat, since the gallbladder is gone...it can make you feel queasy. Since you are dehydrated, what about concentrating on getting your protein in via shakes? Nectar Lemon tea is tasty made with Crystal Light Ice tea, decaffeinated. A splash of Crystal Light Sunrise and a dash of cinnamon is almost like cold Russian Tea. Sometimes I use a scoop of Lemon tea and add a half scoop of Protein Delite Tropical Blast for a tropical pineappley flavor. I actually look forward to my protein drinks these hot days, with crushed ice. The Nectars seem to work better for me instead of the milk based proteins for hot weather. Take care, Emily

Heather, I'm sorry you are having a hard time of it. Here are some wonderful protein ideas that go down easy. I drink chocolate unjury protein mixed with 16 oz of choc carb countdown - tastes just like a sinful chocolate shake. I drink this every morning for breakfast. Sometimes I throw a banana in for potassium. I eat a lot of tuna, cottage cheese and baked or broiled fish. I found a honey smoked salmon at Sams that is to die for. It melts in your mouth and has a huge amount of protein and the good fat we need. I also eat a lot of shrimp, crab, and scallops. I put fish, scallops, or shrimp on my george foreman grill everyday and it's wonderful. Have you tried rotissarie chicken. It is very tender and goes down easier than baked chicken. I pick one up at krogers or sams and eat on it all week usually. I also keep power crunch bars on hand. I hope these help. These are easy to get down, high in protein ideas. I hope you get to feeling better! Candy 266/167/1?? -99

Heather- I'm so sorry you are having a hard time. (((((((hugs)))))))))))))))) Maybe you should stick w/ liquids for awile, get in protein drink or add protein powder to mashed potatoes. What about egg salad, that's pretty easy going down. Best wishes and keep us informed on your progress. Kelly
