Wanted to and say hello to everyone. Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. I have off from both jobs so it's been wonderful for me I'm enjoying my new job at the Assistant living home. It's so rewarding to be told how much your appreciated and get hugs and kisses. Some get cranky in the morning but hells bells if you where 97 or 102 (yes we have a 102 lady) you would be cranky at times also. I'm still working the other dreaded retail job and I want to give them the boot but I don't think my husband wants me to quit. Not sure where he is coming from. Good note on working two jobs is that my weight is dropping off me but I don't think it's the healthiest way to do it and in all honesty I came home three nights in a roll and got sick to my stomach and that's a big I eat very little and hardly get anything in to drink as I'm on the go NON stop. I come home and it don't matter what I eat it comes right back up. If I nibble through the day I'm fine. It's nice having all this energy but how much longer can my body hold up until it poops out. I'm thinking I'm going to cut my hours even less with the retail store until school starts. I hate being home with my 16 year old step son. He is at that age where he gets on my last nerve. Likes to manipulate his father and I all the time. Yes, I know all teens are that way Other wise, life in the fast lane is treating Donna good hugs to all and enjoy your Sunday Donna 338/196 -142

Good morning Donna, OMG two jobs. Whew you are one busy lady. You need to take care of yourself , no one else can do it for you. We don't need you to get dehydrated. I am off today as well. I worked a real long day yesterday. Hubby and I went country dancing last night. It's good exercise. We also enjoy people watching. Today I need to find some work clothes. They are all too big. I have to wear white collar shirts and black pants. I think I'll hit some thrift stores. Enjoy your day off and take care of yourself. Diana 379/232/?

Good Morning Donna... Aren't weekends off wonderful?!?!?! I am in a job where I finally have every weekend off, no nights, no holidays, and no call.... It took me a long time to get here, but I have been in this job for 8 yrs now, and I hope I can stay in it until I die.... Or find a rich man to marry me so I won't have to work... Like that'll ever happen... 2 jobs??? Girl, are you crazy???? You better slow down and take care of yourself. I know we feel like we have more energy than we have had in years, but good grief.... Don't use up all your energy in your first year.... Have a great rest of the weekend!!! Susan

Yes, having off weekends is wonderful but I only get off every other weekend from the assistant living. My retail job depends on if they schedule me for Saturday evenings. I don't work Sunday's ANYMORE at my retail job and they don't like it but guess what what I think about that 338/196 -142

Good afternoon Donna, I'm glad that you are having a nice weekend off. It's so nice to be able to just take a deep breath and relax, so enjoy your time off, you deserve it. Two jobs, wow, how do you do it. You must be exhausted all the time. Oh the ripe age of 16, I'm sending my best to you. That's the age when they know it all and you can't tell them anything. You'll get through it and be stronger for it. Well have a great day and take care of yourself. Take care, Loni 237/147.5/115 32.5 lbs. to goal

Happy Monday Morning all, from a very overtired, pooped 57 year young women who partied too hard this weekend. OOOOHHHH I am one tired chick, but that is OK, cause I had such a fun weekend. John and I left for Georgetown Friday night after I called my SIL and asked if we could come then, instead of Saturday night and she said sure. We arrived about 10:00, visited for a while and then we all headed to sleep. I slept on our queen size Aero bed for the first time. I can now get up and down off the ground. Hurrah for me. We all got up early Saturday morning, sat around relaxing, visiting, playing with their new 19 week old Brittany Spaniel, so cute, loving, and energetic!!! We then headed off to the strongwomen competition in Revere. We had a sunny, strong breezy, not to hot and no humidity day, a rare gem in New England, just wonderful. There were over 60 competitors and 5 various venues to rotate through. Melissa won 1st place in her weight division and is a state champion. Hurrah for Melissa, she did fabulous. Many of her relatives and friends were there to cheer her on. We found a great tree to sit under and enjoy the day's events. After the competition we formed a car caravan traveled to Salem where Melissa lives. The Salem Recorder did a front page, full page, with photos on Melissa, her WLS journey,(-minus 200 lbs) her athletic training, her decision to enter this competition, and told about her life. The Fox sports news was also there taping the event for future broadcast. We spent a nice evening at Melissa's all visiting, having dinner, and replaying the day's events. John and I headed back to his Brothers house where the evening extended with more visiting, swimming, playing dominos, and having fun. We pooped out early though and we were all gone to bed by midnight. Up again early on Sunday. We had a nice breakfast, left for a nature walk with the puppy to a game preserve, then Gayle and I went dinner shopping, came back put on our bathing suits, sunscreen, and played the rest of the day, swimming, sunbathing, laughing, fixing stuff for dinner, & just relaxing. Good family/relative visiting time. It seems that when we all get together it is for an event party or function and good visiting, real talking time does not happen. Not this weekend. Very good all around. Whenever we have visited John's brothers family I never went into their pool cause I knew that I could not pull myself out. Not know. I could get in and get out with ease and I just kept doing it because I could. I had fun and got good exercise. The water was so refreshing and delightful. We took our leave at 9:00PM, tired but happy and so very relaxed. Got home by 11:00, unpacked the car, the suitcase, and was in bed asleep before midnight. But I am so tired today, so wish me well and that I can get through the day without falling asleep or goofing up. Happy women, empowered, ready to go to sleep, but would not exchange a moment of the weekend for a few zzzzz's now. I partied like I haven't in years. Healthy food, fun activities, partaking in life, no****ching others do that. Hurrah for me, hurrah for us all. Love, Monica
