Surgery monday!!! Again!

Hello All to the december crew I have been in pain for over 2 weeks and thought what in the world is wrong with me? I have been having such bad back pain and in my belly this pain was worse then giving birth! NO Kidding! So I went to my doctor and had some test done and my Gallbladder has stopped working! So they have to take this out. I will be so glad when this is over! I have done quite well in less then 6.5 months I have lost 103 pounds and have gone from a size 24-26 to a 10! I feal very fortuante to have done so well. My sister is a RN and has had a man in her hospital for over 4 months Mr. Herd and she said that it will most likley be another 2-3 months before he gets to go home, so if anyone reads this Please pray for Mr. Herd and his family they really could use some prays! Hey there Heather, I am so sorry to hear about your Gallbladder. Did you dr check it when you had your surgery? My dr check mine and said that it was fine. I hope that I do not have to have it done... You will be in my prayers. Just think after this surgery you will feel better again... May God Bless you and yours. Brenda

Girl I soooo know what you are going through! I just had my gallbladder removed 3 weeks ago. You will feel so much better when it is out though. Make sure to take your pain medication. I thought the gallbladder surgery hurt worse than the gastric bypass! Wishing you well! Brenda 283/182/??

Thanks to all *****plied to my post thanks for putting me in your prayers and Mr.Herd also. I had the surgery Dr. Curry said that my gallbladder was very diseased, this was an outpatients procedure but after i had been home for 2 hours I got up to go pee and when I went to go get back it bed I fainted Hit the Floor? I was like how did I get down here? But I am fine! I will agree that I was in more pain. This pain was worse then GB and having a child so I hope that all of you don't have to go threw this. Hi Heather, Sorry to hear that you are having surgery. I also have to have my gall bladder removed (Monday 7/25). I have HUGE stones and they are causing quite a bit of trouble. How was it? Did it hurt a lot afterwards? Did they do it lap or open? Hope you are feeling well now, Cheryl

i AM SO SORRY TO HEAR THAT YOU HAVE TO HAVE YOURS REMOVED! I was in such bad pain before the surgery the surgey itself was quite easy it was done lap but the only problem that I had is that the Gas that they blow your belly up with hurts I felt like I had Menstral cramps BAD!! It has been 2 days I am getting around better but my stomach is very sore. The gas should only last 24 hours so if you can get a heating pad this will help the pain Med's didn't help! with the gas!
