saggy skin?

Anyone else grossin' out at the saggy skin,under the arms,between the legs,and especially the stomach?Any suggestions on what can help to tighten up the excess skin? I'm drinking tons of water(I heard that helps) I am also doing some resistance exercises,however I have noticed no differance!! Is surgery the only solution? I'd appreciate any advice.Thanks and every one have a great month 7!!!!! Love,Melinda

Hi Melinda--- I'm in the same boat. Yes, my arms and thighs are really saggy and crinkly looking. Its frustrating that I can wear a smaller size, but must choose shirts with sleeves. I've started resistance and swimming. Its too early to know if this will help. I've heard that gaining more muscle under the skin helps somewhat, but surgery is really the only true answer. Does anyone know any more about this???? Hugs, Cheri

Melinda, I'm in the same boat and am hating it. I"m also doing resistence exercises and nothing yet. Surgery maybe are option at the end and I"ve decided that I"m ready for that. Take care, Loni

Hi! Same here too! I think exercising definitly helps, but what's left over after that is probably going to have to delt with surgically. I started using Jernigan's Skin Firming Lotion (Large bottle at walmart is less than $6) right after my surgery. I lather it on after every shower. It's not a miracle cure, but I've noticed a difference. Every little bit helps!!!! Dove also makes a skin firming body wash. Just started using it too. When I get closer to my goal I plan on having a tummy tuck and breast lift. Jennifer -93 lbs

I noticed my inner thighs and under arms are starting to sag they are losing fat but the skin is staying the same. And my inner thighs are crinkly looking as someone else mentioned. I know I will have to have PS as I started at 415 and want to be 200 which is very dramatic...but its worth it to me! I havent tried resistence yet hoping to start soon I am currently take 2 classes and working 2 jobs...whew........ Megan 415/310/199

I can deal with saggy skin but I hate under the arms and I'm wearing long sleeve shirts in the heat of the summer. I need to start lifting weights for the arms to tone them up. It won't take all the saggy skin away but I have told it might help tone some what. I'm going to get the small weights that I can carry in my hands while I walk. Donna 338/201 -137

I am doing 3 & 5 lb resistance weights to help with the upper arms. I have absolutely huge biceps, which are now sagging like wings. YUK. I don't have as much of a problem in the leg or tummy area. I started belly dancing at 3 months out (245 lbs) which has helped with firming up my abdomen muscles and my leg muscles. My biggest problem area is my boobs. They look like walnuts in wet socks. Kinda gross, but accurate. I have gone from a 46 DD to a 38 C in the past 7 months. Most of my loss has been off this area. I hate the way they look and no amount of exercise can ever put them back to where they belong or make them look "full" again. I have resigned that I will require a breast lift and I have already began to look into it. Unfortunately, I have to be at goal before the surgeon will operate, so I have many months yet, stuck with these awful breasts. Sorry to be so whiny but my sagging breasts have been my biggest worrry. Karen G
