Surgery was well worth it

I ran into my old boss the other day at Wal-Mart. I haven't seen him in about two years, but when I worked there, he would always call me fat bi$#tch, lard a$$, etc. etc. etc. Seeing him was such a great feeling, because I KNEW that he was shocked...it was so much fun to see the look on his face and the look on his wife's face. Just to show them that I did something about my weight was so worth the surgery. I went shopping yesterday, and I seem to be experiencing some body image issues. I keep grabbing XL shirts praying that they are going to fit me...I'm a medium/large! I went shopping at Ambercrombie & Fitch, the first time ever! Shopping is killing me now because I want everything and anything that fits me. I have new clothes in my closet that I never got a chance to wear because they are too big...it's a great feeling. These last 40lbs are going to kill me...but I'm enjoying the ride so far....

Oh my gosh Isabel, I know just what you mean about the shopping. For me I keep going to the plus size department and I know that nothing there is going to fit me. I bought a size 14 shorts the other day and am gettintg into a med/large shirt, it is really hard to get used to. I'm also wanting to buy everything and I really have to reign myself in because my sizes are changing so much. Congratulations on your WOW moment. That's a shame that a boss was allowed to you call you such name. I would hung him by his Balls I'm glad you where able to rub it in his face I work retail for right now, hoping to give it up real soon There was a man that came into the store today with his 13 year old daughter. He himself was over weight and he stood there and said to one of the sells clerks. Look at her, she is 13 and wears a size 16. Then made the little girl cry because one pair of pants was to small which was a size 18 and he said. WHAT, YOU CAN'T FIT INTO AN 18 NOW!! These pants are cut small from the start. Isabel I know how you feel about the clothes. We had family over yesterday and my husband said to put some shorts on. I told him I would if I had some that fit... LOL I think that is great... I bit you felt you were on cloud 9 when you saw your old boss... That was a cool... Brenda
