Kelly,
To be honest I eat pretty much anything these days with the exception of bread, pasta, and rice. Last night we grilled steak kabobs with mushrooms, onions, red and green bell pepper, and pineapple. YUMMY!!!!

Well-- my parents have a restaurant and I make them figure out new things for me to try. They find it fun to make something new. Tonight I had a funky salad. It was spinach, feta, shredded chedder, and well done bacon tossed with red wine vineger and oil. It was delicious! I also found a protien shake that tastes like bubblegum. It became such a hit that everyone oreders them now. It is a banana, some fresh strawberries, orange juice, seltzer, 1 scoop of protien powderand 1 scoop of strawberry frozen yogurt (just a splash of strwberry flavor).
I have tons of them. I experiment all the time. Of course it is nice to have the food to try with. The funny thing is the I have another girl who works there and now she asks for what I had the night before. My mom is thinkng of putting a special spot on the menu for high protien seekers. I think it might just be a great idea! So who knows- maybe it will start something!
My brother is a cook there and he made me an awsome "Chandi-chunga"
It is some grilled chicken, spinach, mozzerella cheese and some other veggies in a wrap. Then he fries the wrap. It is delicious! I only eat the middle because I stay away from breads but that doesn't make it any less good. Well I hope you guys try some of these.
Good luck!

I can also eat pretty much anything, and very little bothers me. I can even eat a little bread without any problem at all. Of course I really watch my portion sizes of anything I eat, and try to limit it all.
I think one of my favorite things to eat, and has been since I have been allowed on solids, is sloppy joes... but since I limit my breads, I eat it on frito's... of course I don't have alot of it, but it gives me my meats that I so crave, and the crunch of the fritos. Plus this way, my kids get what they like, and I am not having to fix 2 different meals.
Something else I really like, and is nearly all protien, is I keep a small container of cream cheese in the fridge. in it, I add garlic powder, and chopped green onion. I then will spread this on a slice of ham, roll it up, and enjoy it like it was a steak. (Steak is my only problem so far)
I eat some other good stuff, to me, but isn't always appropriate for our WLS diets.... I was raised on eating alot of rice, and could eat it with nearly every meal. I would be perfectly happy, but I try to limit that too now. Sux though if you ask me....
