THAT'S IT! I'M OUTTA HERE!!!

Well, it's finally here! We close on our new home in just three days!! I'm moving back to Hunterdon County in NJ, where I was born and raised. I cannot wait. My Mom lives right around the corner! We bought our current home back in 1999 for $150,000 and sold it six years later for $300,000. Our new home was $435,000 with taxes of $6,200. It's expensive here in Jersey, but ya get what ya pay for. We have an acre and a half, a private wooded lot with our own brook in the back, and a 30' above-ground pool. I cannot wait to start decorating!! I put photos of both homes in my latest update on my profile. Once I get set-up with my new ISP, I'll be back! Good luck on your new home and enjoy that pool. That's why a lot of people move to PA as the house's are cheaper. That's why we bought out here in PA but my poor husband has to drive an hour and half every day once way Donna

COngrats! I live in Jesey too and the real estate here is booming right now. We bought our house 2 years ago for 170,000 and it was appraised this year for 350,000. AMAZING! We like where we live so we are staying but it is a shock at how high real estate here is now. Do you ever go to the "shore" on vacation? That is where I live. look me up if you head this way.
