Hey Decemberians! I usually only update my pictures once a month, but I got a new hair do that I wanted to share with you all. Check it out if you'd like at: http://www.picturetrail.com/gallery/view?username=ldavis2&x=25&y=10 My hair pictures are in the album called "hanging after WLS". Let me know what you think about my hair, I am still getting used to it! I am still dealing with thinning, especially around the edges. I have also been on a mission with exercise and swimming, so I had to do something different with my hair. This new style is called a "stocking cap weave" so I can take it off, which is the beauty of it. It's pretty light-weight!

OOOH girl I love it. I like the way it frames your beautiful face, very nice and sexy. Are you saying that this is a wig??? If it is wow, I would never know. Your pictures are great. You are doing very well in your journey. This journey is such a wonderful one and I am loving life again. Monica

Yes, it is a wig of sorts. It's called a stocking cap weave or a quick weave. My stylist, put a stocking cap on my head, then glued the fake hair tracks to the stocking cap, then she cut the hair into my desired style. So I can take it off at my leisure. Thank you for your compliments! This journey is great!

Miss L. You look lovely my dear!! I have a hair question, if you wouldn't mind... Every time my daughter gets her hair done in single braids, the ones around her face come out.... I know it's probably because the hair there is only about an inch long, but she also is very active and scratches her head ( I use grease on her scalp regularly) Do you think, that there is any type of hair glue I would be able to use on a 10 year old? What do ya think...... (((Hugs))) Judy

Hair glue can be very harsh on the hair, so I wouldn't recommend it for your daughter. Try having it braided to the back instead of framing the face. That way any short edges will be combined with the longer hair in the back.

Thanks for the advice, I just had it done, so I'll do that next time. My older daughter keeps putting the hair back in but is getting a little tired about it!!! We're going to Virginia next week for the 4th, I hope I can keep her little hands off of her head for a week!! Thanks again, Judy
