Let's go guys and gals!!!
Mornin' Family--
It's 10 am. here now in Ohio and I've been up since the butt crack of dawn with my hyper little darlings . They all wanted cake for breakfast from our Fathers Day Party yesterday, but they had to eat breakfast first, so at 6 am. I was cooking eggs and bacon and toast, THEN they ate cake!!! My 13 year old decided it would be great if she could start dating and wearing "thongs" EEEKKK!!!!! My 7 year old lost a tooth and needs to talk to the tooth fairy NOW!!! We have two litters of kittens, cause sombody's momma cat got killed, and our "friends" knew we had a kitty that was nursing, so they brought over their 4 babies, plus our 5 week old (5 babies) kittens....... They are all mewing and I can't find the mother cat!!!!!!
But, I lost 2 more pounds this week and I'm sooooo happy that the loss has started again!! Thats 91 down. How is everyone else doin? Anyone need a kitten? ((((hugs)))) Judy
Hey Ron and everyone else,
I hope you all had a great weekend and Happy Fathers Day to all you Dad's out there.
Well it has been a crazy week at our house. We are trying to recover from our moving and now we've decided that we need to have a garage sale so I'm getting ready for that and it will be this next weekend. Just plain craziness in my life.
As for my weightloss I'm so happy to report that I've lost 3 lbs. this last week, yeah horrayyyyyy, so that makes my total loss 84.5 lbs. It is so nice to see the scale moving again, Praise God for that. My husband is pretty much off for the summer right now(he's a teacher), he has just a couple more workshops to attend. So we are going up to the High School track and walking 2 miles every morning, and it's kind of nice having someone to exercise with.
Food is still being kind of touchy with me right now. I'm having a terrible time still with meats, although I can eat really thinly sliced deli meats with no problem so I've been doing alot of salads with deli meat on them and vegi's and fruit and it seems to be ok for me right now.
I hope everyone is doing ok and having a great summer. Ron, I will try and work on that email today.
Take care,
Loni
-84.5 lbs.
Hi Ron. It's about 10:18am in beautiful Chicago . I just got off my nasty shift. Too many screaming moms-to-be.
I have been doing great. I'm happy to report that after yo-yoin' these dumb 4-5 pounds I lost an additional 2 pounds to add to that. My total loss is now 102. I'm getting ready for my trip abroad, so shopping is a MUST.
Food has been okay with me. Trying to remember to eat. I drink all day and sometimes forget to eat! Until my boyfriend calls me to ask what I ate..then i think and say um, nada. So off we go to subway or something LOL. At least I'm being taken care of right?
Okay EVERYONE keep up the Great work. I'll peak in when I have time while abroad

Hi Ron....
Glad you had a good Father's Day with your Dad in California... But I did miss talking with you too...
As much as I hated coming back to work today, I am kinda glad vacation is over with... It is good to get back to some kind of routine. However, with my 6 lbs lost this past week, maybe I need to do the vacation thing more often.
Loni, I am having a garage sale this weekend upcoming too. My mom will be up on Wednesday, and ours will be held on Friday and Saturday. I am so tired of moving packed boxes that I never need, so it is time to get rid of it and to get rid of some more of these clothes that I have undergrown. Maybe I can make enough to help pay for my car A/C that needs fixing. I doubt it, but it is worth a try.
Hope those of you having troubles with food find some resolutions soon. There are sometimes that I wish I had a little trouble with foods, but nothing seems to bother me.
I also hope everybody has a great remainder of the summer!!! And Ron, hurry up and come to GA.... Please!!!!

Hi Ron, I lurk more than I post but I just had to say hello. It's a little cool here in NYC, it is only 72 degrees. I am doing really great with my wls tool. I am 6 months out and have lost 85 lbs and made it to onederland. I am so greatful for this tool and the Dec. group and the rest of the message board. When I leave work today, I will take my son out (he's 6) and we will play basketball together, a year ago I couldn't even dream of doing that. Everyone please keep up the good work. This is the best bunch of losers I have met.

Well things are going great in my life. Thank you God!

We are having a great time just enjoying life. I have a better self esteem which helps with my interacton with everyone.
Food is not a problem at all. I can eat anything. I have not tried sugar nor will I. I am telling myself thatsugar is going to make me deadly sick!
I just can't even describe what a wonderful life-changing expierience this wls has been.

Hello December crew members. Good to read how wonderful we are all doing. I have lost 91 lbs so far. I had been at a plateau
for about a month, the scale did not move, but I could tell I was melting more and more. The clothes I had brought in April no longer fit and I learned a lesson. I got to carried away with buying smaller sized clothes thinking that I would have nothing to wear in summer. I will be more prudent and not buy a bunch. But it has been fun, being able to by clothes at Walmart or Target at such cheap prices. Amazing.
I can eat anything now. I do great portion control and I am very careful about what I eat. My lab work has been good, but my weight management doctors want me to up my protein intake so they suggested that I have a least 3 protein shakes a day. They feel that to prevent problems down the road with anemia and muscle loss that a WLS patient needs at least 120 grms protein at this stage, 6 months out. I take my Optisource vitamins and have begun taking a B12 complex 3 x a week to help with my memory loss or cognitive functions. At age 57 I am worried about my focus and work. The doctors said that even though my labs are fine, taking extra B vitamins can't hurt. I went to Trader Joe's and found a great B12/Folic Acid/B6 vitamin that cost $7.99 for 100 tablets, I put one under my tongue and they dissolve.
Life is good. I am thankful every day for this surgery. I can walk without a cane, clean myself all over, get into size 18/20 sizes, enjoy making love so much more. Just plain enjoy life and not just exist. Happy.
Hurrah for us all. Monica

I finally reached the -100 mark this past week! I am a 59 yr old widow since Oct of 02, nearly 3 years. I am getting lots of compliments and am now dating a tall, dark and handsome 42 year old! Boy, does that help my self esteem! I have not yet told him of my WLS. My oldest son is 36. Oh, well, this will be a fun ride as long as it lasts! I have had no complications whatsoever. This was the best decision I ever made. I now do my own lawn saving lots of $$$$! It's great exercise and very therapeutic as well. I do have a sinus headache but can't blame WLS for that, now, can I? In Indiana it's been not so hot days, cool evenings, but it is to get verrrry hot and steamy this weekend so will head to the pool with my boytoy! Barbara
