Six months out

I just realized it has been six months since I had my surgery. Starting weight 246, This morning 172. I can'nt believe how healthy I am now. A year ago I was in the hospital with uncontrolled diabeties and congestive heart failure. This was the best thing I could have done for myself.

Mary, First of all Congrats! I see you had the lapband. The weightloss I know is slower for lapbands but your weightloss is great! That seems like alot of weight lost already at 6 mo. for a lapbander. That is terrific. My husband and I are looking into him having lapband surgery. He needs to lose about 100lbs and we think the lapband is better than rny for him personally. I myself had r-n-y but I had alot more to lose. Well keep up the good work. Kelly
