Dental issues anyone?

I was at the dentist TODAY!!! I have good teeth and get the usual "You need to floss but your teeth are great" Today, I got some antibiotic treatment/irrigation because my gums were swollen and boy did they bleed!!! I NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH MY GUMS!!!! It is now 8 1/2 hrs since I was there and my teeth/gums STILL HURT. Glad to see I am not the only one. Boy, someone wasn't kidding when they said we are all in this together. You guys ROCK and I am glad to hear I am not going crazy.

This is due largely to the fact that we no longer drink with our meals, so we aren't washinfg the food out of our mouths out. I try to rinse my mouth out with water after every meal, so the food doesn't sit on my teeth.
