Hi everybody, I'm just curious, if you know the answer to this question please let me know. I heard from one of my support group buddies that the size of your stomach during surgery depends on the weight you are. For example the more you weigh the smaller the pouch will be created by the doctor. your surgery buddy, Annette

My surgeon said about the size of a galf ball but maybe he meant 6 months out. I'll have to ask him the next time I see him. Donna 338/219 -119

MY SURGEON SAID HE MAKES THEM ALL THE SAME SIZE... ABOUT THE SIZE OF YOUR THUMB... HE SAID THAT IT WOULD STRETCH TO A FINAL SIZE OF ABOUT A CUP. BUT IF YOU THINK ABOUT THAT IT IS STILL NOT VERY BIG.... REMEMBER HOW MUCH WE USE TO BE ABLE TO EAT.... I CAN'T EVEN EAT A QUATER OF THAT NOW... I AM ALMOST 6 MONTHS OUT.... IF I EAT SALAD.... I CAN EAT A CUP FULL.... BUT IF I EAT MEAT MAYBE A HALF AT THE MOST.... AND I CAN EAT 8 LARGE (NOT JUMBO) SIZE SHRIMP... SO I KNOW IT IS BIGGER.... BUT THE SURGEON SAID HE DOESN'T SEE IT GETTING MUCH BIGGER (UNLESS I REALLY WORK HARD AT STRETCHING IT....) BONBON
