Testing at the hospital for a job
I went for my testing at the hospital in hopes to get a job. I won't know until next week sometime but I'm kind of worried about the second part of the test. Good news is that I can go back and take the test as many times as I want. I'm not giving up
I want to quit my job I have now as I'm just tired of it, no not tired I hate it but my husband says NO . It's not like we need my money and it's my happiness and I'm tired of people pushing me around. Does anyone else feel the same way? I'm taking charge of my own life and if NOBODY likes it then tough. The little is coming out in me.

I understand completely! I hated the job I had at the time of my surgery but decided to stick it out until after the surgery. I was back for one month before a job I really wanted opened in another department. Due to my new and improved self image, I WOWed them at the interview and three weeks and two more interviews later was offered the job.
Just before I started my new job I had my long straight hair cut shoulder length and sassy. I now accept compliments with a smile and I have changed my whole life including food, fitness, and fashion.
Changing jobs can only help if you are so unhappy. Even now a bad day at work is still better than a good day was at my old job.
We are new people. Embrace the changes!
Hi Donna,
Just curious as to what kind of job you are applying for at the hospital. I have worked in hospitals for the past 25 yrs, and in many different jobs. I started as a receptionist on a surgical floor right out of high school, then went into being a Unit Secretary. Then from there, I went into doing ER registration, along with also doing out-patient and in-patient admitting. Then worked in Medical records for awhile. Then I decided I was tired of working my butt off for the little money they were paying me, so I went to Respiratory Therapy school, and became a Respiratory Therapist. Then in my current job that I have been in for over 8 years now, I am a Certified Hyperbaric Technologist. It is a much easier job than working in Respiratory Therapy, and alot more money. But being a Resp Therapist was a prerequisite for the job. The good thing about hospital work is that it will always be needed, and the pay is pretty good as well as the benefits. Plus, it is usually pretty easy to transfer jobs from one place, er, hospital to another if you ever move.
Good Luck with your testing... Be sure to let us all know how it turns out, and if you have any questions that I could maybe help you with, please feel free to ask.
Susan
I'm trying for a Support Partner or going back into CNA schooling and I would love to be a Technical Partner.
My pounds are back to melting off once again My husband told me I don't get enough protein in which might be why my eye sight is not that good and it might be effecting my thinking. I had a hard time seeing the TV while testing today and I got tired very quickly.
