feeling slow....
well, it has been a little over 5 mths since my surgery on Dec 7th and I have lost 80lbs.... I feel like I the scales have stopped moving, I know I shouldnt be worried but I guess we all go through this.... I guess I should just be happy that I am in 12's now! Just thought I would get this off my chest! Hope everyone is well!!!
Disclaimer: This works for me - I don't know if it will work with you.
When i hit a plateau - I increase my fat intake. (as long as it is long carb - higher fat). As I said, this has helped me in the past.
Also - water is KEY!
Good luck, sweetie, 89 pounds in5 months is NOTING to sneeze at!!!!
Hugs,
Laura
I hear you.....oh how I hear you, girl! My scales are screeching to a halt also. I too have lost 80 pounds, but the pounds are coming off sooooo slow now. I have really been working out hard at Curves and it is discouraging when the scales don't show anything for the effort. We will just have to hang in there! Keep up the good work!
Hi ;
If this is the first time you have stopped losing just relax. I mean you are talking to someone who has been at a stand still more time than he has been losing. It will take off again. I find that when I begin to get discouraged to a point of going back to all the old habits I will lose a couple of lbs. and then I become encouraged again. Just remember you have averged losing 16 lbs a month and how long has it been since you saw that kind of weight loss? Your Loser Friend,
Jim
