My little one is home now!!!
Well, another update on my little guy...
He was discharged from the hospital on Friday evening.... when I finally made it up there to get him. I left work a little early, because we had storms brewing in our area. I finally made it home, got the car packed, (as we were going to be staying friday night at my best friends house up in Atlanta, then going on up to Gainesville for our monthly Georgia OH.com get together) and finally got on the road for the drive to the hospital up in Atlanta (98 miles one way from my house). Anyway, I got about 35 miles up the road, and it occurred to me that I had forgotten to grab Nick's medicines. I had to turn around and go back and get them..... Ugh.... I was not a happy camper at the moment, thats for sure... I finally got to the hospital at about 7pm, and Nick was very happy to see me, and very glad to be getting out of the hospital.
It is amazing to see how much more calm he is, and how much better he is handling some of lide's little disappointments. It is wonderful that he is not lashing out like he was before. And he has had a very good weekend. He did have one episode where he got mad, but he just brooded instead of showing out, so that was a tremendous improvement.
Hopefully all will continue to go well, and I can get him involved in these community therapies, and we will get him some additional help along the way.
Just wanted to give you all an update...

I'm so happy that you have Nick back at home, I'm sure that he will do even better at home with you. Nick is a very blessed little boy to have such a wonderful Mom like you, I can see how much you love him.
It's a blessing that they were able to figure out what he needed in his meds and got it all figured out.
I'm so happy for you both that you had such a wonderful weekend and that you are together again. Thanks for the update.
Take care,
Loni
