Help!! Confession time
Hey friends,
I'm battling with head hunger again. I'm eating carbs and sugar again, too. My weight has stalled, but I'm working out and have lost inches and tightened up alot.
I wish I dumped on carbs and sugar so I'd be afraid to eat it.
I am sooo tired of protein shakes and chicken breasts. I miss my old way of eating. It was my enemy and my friend at the same time. I do NOT want to return to morbid obesity and being consumed by bad eating habits. I know I need to learn to cope with stress in a different way, but I see myself slowly slipping into old patterns again.
Why am I afraid to be normal size?
What is my reason for choosing to be obese? Hell if I know!! Please help me regain control. Are any of you facing this problem too? Maybe we can do a challenge or something.
ANYTHING to get me off the carbs and sugar.

Thank you, Bon Bon,
50 or less a day? Wow, that means I'll have to pay attention and COUNT carbs, huh??? UGH
Okay, I need the help. I'll do it today, for today, I'm totally committed. Then, I'll recommit every day this week.
But thank you so much for responding. I WILL call my nutritionist tomorrow. I hadn't even thought of that! Thanks for putting me back on track!
Love,

Karen,
Remember that sugar and carbs actually cause a lot of head hunger. If you get back on track and stay away from the sugar and carbs the head hunger should subside again. If you find yourself wanting a snack. Tell youself that you have to drink 20 oz of water first, if you still want a snack after that, eats some cashews, string cheese, lowfat yogurt, or 2% lowfat cottage cheese. I got some power crunch bars for when that sweet tooth hits. It really hits the spot, plus gives me additional protein. Hang in there. You've done too well to turn back now. Much luck!

Karen,
Hang in there Girl. Find some high protein snacks to eat. I food some South Beach Diet Cereal bars @ Wal-mart this weekend and they are awesome. 10 proteins and only 9 impact carbs. I got the peanut butter and boy it is a great snack and helps me feel like I am satisfing my head hunger. Hope this helps some.

I did well yesterday and today (so far). Late nights are my worst time. For 4 yrs now, since I'm divorced, I get depressed and lonely and bored late at night. I sit and watch tv or play solitaire and eat. I start off snacking healthy, then before the night is over, I'm eating trash. Last night, I managed to make it to bed without cheating. So far so good tonight. Thanks for the support!
