DANG IT !!
Stupid scale hasn't moved in 9 days...I'm stuck at 179. HOW FREAKIN' FRUSTRATING! Obviously I'm not considering this a "plateau" yet, but it's driving me batty! I know, I know...throw the dang scale out the window...
I've even kicked up my protein intake over the past week and still NADA, NOTHING, ZIP, ZERO.
Just needed to vent ...
I do think I'm still losing inches though, as I just ordered a $50 pair of denim capris from Newport News in a size 14 and had to send them back because they were too big/baggy/falling down off my waist! I cannot even REMEMBER the last time I wore a size 12. I bet it was in like 8th grade or something. LOL, and I'm going to be 38 this year. OMG, did I just say 38?!!! YIKES!

Hi Christine;
I know you do not want to hear what I am about to say but here goes anyway. Just take a deep breath and relax as 9 days of not losing is nothing to get frustrated about as I just went 7 weeks and then lost a few lbs. and then I gained 5 and have not lost anything for a week and a half so far. Now that is what will really drive you batty. Besides you have lost 78lbs in 5 months which is 15.6 lbs a month and when is the last time you were able to do that and know that it was not going to come back again. Besides that from the picture I see you are and hot. So give it time and remember that you are only 42lbs. from goal, Wish I could say that. Your Loser Friend,
Jim
Oh James, what a sweet message! Thank you for replying! I know I shouldn't complain, and you're right, 9 days is not a lot compared to what you (and others) have gone through. I'm sorry for complaining!
I am so grateful for this surgery and I do feel awesome! I'm noticing a lot of guys checking me out now! Especially when they see me in my F-350 super cab Turbo Diesel! LOL
Hugs,
Christine
I just got off a 4-week stall, so 9 days is nothing. I've had many since surgery. The shortest was 1-1/2 weeks, the longest 4 weeks, the usual is 2 weeks. By the 3 week of the long ones, I'm a crazy lady, but eventually things do move again.
I've lost 46 lbs since December, wear a size 20 and I get to be 50 this year.
I'll trade you.
