Hey everyone , does anyone have any new and exciting foods to eat? I am getting bored and trying to find some new things..Thanks..I did have a blueberry,rasberry,strawberry,bannan,vanilla protein shake today..lol..lol

Hi Ron, It is almost 8am here in Texas and I haven't had my protein drink this morning yet. Getting ready to go and fix me a Nectar Fuzzy Navel drink. Hmm recipes.. no clue right now. I really haven't changed anything since pre surgery other than no sugar and no bread. So I am really eating the things I used to eat, but in moderation. HUGSSSS you are doing so awesome! Kathy

Well Ron have you heard of Dame Tooter's website? She has different food ideas, I've gotton some things off there and my hubby and kids even liked them. They are just variations of regular recipes w/ the low carb twist or no carb. She also has some cool snack ideas(protein) bariaticbytes then the dot com , if I misspelled her website just got to dame's profile and it's on there. I did find something new to drink at wal-mart. Minute maid Light Limeade,and Tangeringe orange. They just came out a couple of weeks ago here in Ks. Only 15 calories per 8oz. Kelly

Lately I've been making grilled chicken strips with melted cheese on top...and I top it off with HOT salsa. It's soooo good and LOTS of protein! I don't even miss my tortillas! Also, I simmer HOT salsa, and Chile Serrano's and then add shredded low fat mozzarella and that is one GOOD source of protein. I am also staying away from breads, and sugar. I'm back to eating "Normal" of course in moderation. And it's great because NOW I don't feel deprived. Good Luck, Gracie 270/180 30# to Doc's Goal 40# to Personal Goal
