A Pleasant Surprise
Hi Everyone,
I seem to hit a plateau every few weeks. I've never felt, until now, that this was easy. Friends just said that I was a slow loser. Hopefully with the increase of calories and protein this losing streak will stay a while this time.
Now I finally feel like it is melting off easily.
I haven't bounced in 4 weeks and I am losing a pound or so every other day.
I just want to say Hi to all of you and to share my good news.
Love to All,
Mary Salmon
-61 before surgery
-68 after surgery
+71 pounds yet to lose and reach my goal
Hi Annette,
For me it was that I was not taking in enough calories and protein. I emailed my food chart that is complete with everything that goes in my mouth in a 24 hour period. On that chart I keep track of the calories and protein. I also keep track of how long I exercise, on what, and if that machine tells me how many calories I burn.
With all of that my nutritionist asked me to up my calories to 1100-1300 a day and to try and hit 100G of protein.
Now I'm dropping a pound every other or every third day. Even in the beginning of this surgery I did not drop weight this fast.
Good luck to you Annette. Your weight loss so far is wonderful!

Hi Everyone,
I just wanted to thank everyone here for their reply. It is so nice to come in here and know that we are not alone. I too have 4 pounds to go to break free of the 200's.
We will all hang in here together through our times of success and through our times of trials.
Has anyone heard any more about our 1st Anniversary get together?
Love and Peace to all,
Mary Salmon
