Saw my PCP today and got GOOD NEWS!
Hey everybody... I saw my PCP today... He is very thrilled with me right now... Almost as thrilled with me as I am myself...
Last week I went and had my lab work done in preparation for this visit. It was all so good that I almost danced a jig right there in the waiting room. Now keeping in mind that before surgery, I was taking 2000mg of Glucophage (Metformin) and 10mg Glucotrol, as well as BP meds and Reflux meds... And I haven't had any of this since the night before surgery... Well, my labs were fantastic... My HgA1c was down to 5.4(normal) from 9.8 pre-op. My liver enzymes are now down in the low normal range, and haven't been this low in well over 10 yrs. My cholesteral is down to 200 from around 250 pre-op. My thyroid levels are to a point where he is lowering my thyroid meds to wean me, and possibly able to come off of it on my next visit in 3 months. My blood pressure is 120/82. And according to his scales, I am down 85 lbs from my last pre-op visit with him. According to mine and my surgeons scales I am only down 81 lbs (these are the scales I go by)
So, to say the least, I am thrilled... I haven't had a PCP visit this great in many years... Now if I could just get my little one out of the hospital, move Arizona a little closer to GA, and win the lottery, my life would be near perfect.
Hope everybody else's day has been as great as mine!!!!

YOU GO GIRL!! You deserve the best and only good things shall come your way. Arizona will move closer to you You'll get your little one healthy again and home.
This is the way I'm looking at life right now. I'm going forward and bettering myself. I refuse to let anyone put me down ever again.
I'm going to see a brother of mine who is visiting NY, he is from Alaska. We are driving about three hours to see him at the airport. This brother has some medical problems and in so many ways has never grown up, still lives in his teen years. His remarks sometimes can be real tacky when it comes to peoples weight and he don't mean anything by it, thinks he is joking. I won't let his remarks come between our love as brother and sister
I should have seen my PCP yesturday but sadly she was out sick but I go see her on the 20th and then once my darling husband bets back to work I'll be able to see my surgeon and hopefull have wonderful tests results for him.
How is your little one doing? If you don't mind me asking.
Take care... hugs Donna
