Does anyone feel like this surgery just did not work for them?
You know, I completely understand. I had my surgery the day before you and have lost 52 pounds. I haven't lost anymore in the last 3 weeks. I'm trying to get more water in, which I have gotten better. But I'm having a hard time with the food. I don't have the dumping or getting sick issues so many others have. So I feel that it thwarts what I 'should' be going thru. I am one of very little discipline...but I'm trying. I'm hanging in there because I know it will eventually come off.
I see you're in Mobile. I'm in Pensacola. If ever you're coming this way to the beach or anything, let me know. We can get together sometime.

No Matter how small or how big your weight lose is, look at yourself NOW!!! U have lost alot of weight and that is wonderful just think that If you had not done this surgery you would still be the same and GOD know that I am thankful everyday for every Pound I have lost! I am so much happier, and God has blessed us all with any amount of weight LOSS! Love All of YOU! Heather Sizemore Best Wishes To ALL OF US! ( It would be nice if we could lose it all in a month) LOL But it did take us longer then a month to get this way!
Heather your so right about being thankful everyday that we where one of the lucky ones to be blessed to have WLS. So many never get it or must wait for months like I did but it was well worth the wait.
EVERYONE should be thankful regardless if it's a small or large amount of weight we are losing. The key here is to stay on track and keep losing until we reach goal.
