My plug's been pulled.
I feel like my plug has been pulled. I was taking in about 1100 cals/day (and getting in the amount of H20 and protein needed) and getting 8-10 hours of exercise a week (aerobic + wt. training 3X/wk). I also started back on the pill. In the last 2 weeks, I've actually gained 2 pounds. I upped the calories to 1200 and have cut back to just 7 hours of aerobic per week thinking that my body didn't have enough cals to use the protein to build muscle. I've also needed about 10 hours of sleep a night. Any hints to help get through this sluggish period?

My loss has slowed / stalled, lately, too. I think it is a natural plateau. I am not making any changes yet. Hoping it will pass in a few short weeks. I do 1200 calories and daily cardio. Although my loss has not completely stopped....it is down to 1-2 pounds per week, which is really slow. I sure hope it picks up soon. Good luck on your attempt to break the plateau.
If you are feeling sluggish, perhaps your iron or B12 are low? You might need some additional supplements.
