HI Brenda, Yes you can gain weight back if you eat more then what your doctor said you should be eating. My girlfriend has gain some back because she didn't stay focused on watching what she was eating. She is now getting back on track and starting to lose again. She is shrinking her stomach back down. I have had that concern myself and I am trying to really watch so that I don't get a gain started. I am only little over 4 months out and I am at a stand still but I am trying to get the losing streak back. Cindy

Drinking with meals is a big factor in gaining back weight. Not only does it wash the food out of your pouch making you be able to eat more, but also it pushes the food through the stoma faster and makes the stoma get larger which allows food to go through faster and you get hungry again faster. Some people can tolerate sugar, and drinking liquids with high calorie content can cause people to gain weight back. Not exercising can cause the weight to come back. Grazing can cause weight gain.
