protein bars??

What kind of protein bars do you all recommend? I don't know which ones to try. Thanks Julie

South beach diet have some tasty cereal bars w/10 or 15 gms of protein. they also have frozen dinners with 24+ gms of protein. and under 250 cals. Generous portions tht are too much to eat. dee

Hi Julie, I switch them around a lot, but I am now eating EAS brand Myoplex Lite from GNC. They are 15 g of protein. I like the peanut butter crunch. They are like a rice krispie treat/granola bar with choc. drizzled on them. I can eat about 1/2 at a time, but I stretch it out. Good luck! Fran

The original South Beach/Carbwell bars are delicious, but have only 9 or 10 grams. The new meal replacement bars have 19! I've only tried one, and found it too dry and big!! I could only eat half of it, and I have no problem with the entire bar of the old kind! You can find them at Walmart (just 1.27) and Walgreen's (1.99), I know. The old kind does come in chocolate now, and it's great! ~~ Leslie
