Does anyone have any ideas that I can use to get more protein into mashed potatoes besides chicken?

Ron, Our gang likes hamburger and gravy over mashed potatoes, with a big salad with chick peas and eggs in it. I use a good ground round or chuck. It goes a long way and is easy on the pouch. Judy

How about some Unflavored Unjury protein powder? I use it for EVERYTHING and it keeps my protein levels up there!! Hugs, Chrissy 257 / 180 / 137

Ron, Hey I have an , have you tried using Soy Milk, to mix in your mashed potatoes? Soy milk is a good source of protein. I also use it on oatmeal and cream of wheat. Just a thought. Julie

Hey Ron, You could also try mixing powdered milk into them that will add protein. Also my family loves it when I put some chicken breast in the crockpot with some cream of chicken soup (I use the healthier one, I just can't remember what it's called right now) and let it cook all day long and then we have that over mashed potatoes, yummmmmy. Hope this helps. Loni -73 lbs.
