Secretly, I was hoping to reach the Century Club before my 6 month check-up, which is scheduled for Tuesday, July 5th. It is also my holidays and I would love to be down 100 pounds by then.
My long term goal is to reach my optimum weight before my 2006 holidays. I will be attending a family reunion and meeting many of my boyfriends family for the first time. I would love to be of a normal size before then.

Jamie,
You'll make it! I know you will!
My next mini goal is to be 191 by 5/15/05 - 5 month anniversary. That would be down 75 pound in five months.
Right now I'm at 200 - so I need to lose 3 pounds a week to make it. I've been averaging about 2 pounds a week so I need to step it up a notch.
Keep up the great work.

*1 pound to onderland!!!*
I am hoping that I can weigh 230 lbs by 6/15. I see my weight management doctors on that day. I currently weigh in at 254 lbs, so I will need to lose 24 more pounds to reach this. If I can do this I will have lost 100 pounds since 12/06/04 or 27 weeks post op. I am a bit afraid that I am being too optimistic : to even try for this. Am I putting pressure on myself, yes. Is this a realistic goal.....I think so (hope). I can try right!!
Trying, that is what we are all doing. We have made a committment to ourselves to be healthier. We all are healthier now. We are losing weight at different rates, we approach this journey with different ideas, goals, needs, and wants. But we are in this together and we have been so successful. I think back on my life carring around those 76 lbs. How did I live......just barely. I felt awful, looked awful....just existed. This new journey makes life so much more fun. Even though I am 57 years old, I feel younger and I am happier. I carry myself differently, straighter, I don't limp as badly from my sore arthritic knees. Some days I can go without a can totally. I do more, have more energy....I am living life and no****ching it go on by.
Sharing this journey with the December crew is wonderful. I love the over fifty forum (OFF), we have so mu*****ommon together because of our ages, but I find special gifts here amoung us who at the same stages in this journey. Thank you all and best of luck to each of you. We hold a special bond between us. We delight in our achievements, learn from each others mistakes, and offer advise and concern. I am glad I am here.

330/254/1??
Hurrah for us all.
Looks like you are doing great!!!
I set large goals... For example my 3 mo goal was 60lb**** that exactly. My 6 mo goal is 100 lbs. I am at 84 with a little over a month to go. So I think you should set mini goals but dont be too upset if you miss them. Of course I say that now, but if I dont hit the 6 mo goal I may feel differently.
I think the main thing is to concentrate on heathy eating and exercise and not stress about the scales so much!
GOOD LUCK!!
