Anyone see Finding Nemo? Remember when Dori (the fish) Said "I will name you Squishy and you will be My squishy" Well thats me lately really really squishy! Especially in that dreaded swim suit!! Have any of you bought a new suit? My upper legs look like a sharpi.....excuse my spelling......Do they sell bathing suits with skirts or long legs? Help.......Judy

I was so happy to fit a smaller size suit.... THENNNNNNN I looked at my thighs. I look like my grandma. YUCK. I have one with a little skirt, but at this rate, I'll need an ankle legnth swim suit. I AM VERY, VERY SQUISHY!!!!! Does this go away? Cheri

My best friend had this surgery 2 yrs ago this month. She has lost 230 lbs and had extremely sharpei looking legs... but over the last few months she has been preparing her self for a 3 day/24 mile Breast Cancer Awareness Walk. She has been walking a minimum of 8-10 miles per day... Well, lo and behold, since she has been walking this much, her thighs aren't near as bad as they used to be. It is really amazing.... Mine are getting pretty bad too. I have had to get another bathing suit myself, and finally found one with a skirt that is not black. I am very fair complected, and black just makes me look even more pale. The skirt helps to hide it a little, but not all of it. But I guess 80 lbs and saggy legs aren't much to have to compromise about. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Susan Lap RNY 12-1-04 285-205-155 (-80)

I have not owned a swimsuit in years and my best girlfriend (who calls herself my husbands mistress) thinks she is going to talk me into getting into a swimsuit and going swimming. I THINK NOT Donna 338/233 -105

Judy, I also know what you mean about the upper legs problem. I didn't even carry a lot of weight in my legs and I still have a problem with it. I found a cute jogkini suit (shorts and a top) at jms.com. I've found that the shorts style works better for me than a skirt. Good luck, Mary -65.5 pounds 302/235.5/???

LOL I can totally relate to you.. my upper inner thighs are so squishy! YUCK.. BUT -- I did buy this really cute bikini that I am wearing this summer, thighs or not! Other than the thighs I don't look to bad in it. My tummy is not to flabby and I think it is going to look even better when I get my belly pierced. lol I have a cute 1 piece suit to wear to the swim parks with the kids though. Kathy 242/180/120

I am 52, post-menopausal and have hypothyroidism. I weighed 301 the day of my surgery. I have lost 95 pounds so far and, to my amazment, my skin looks much better than I could have imagined. It is really bouncing back great. Maybe its my skin because I have never had any stretchmarks during my 3 pregnancies, or during my weight gains I don't know, but I think it is because I walk a minimum of 2 hours a day. I get up at 4:45 a.m. and walk for an hour before I get ready for work, I walk everywhere I possibly can during my day. On weekends I walk for 2 hours straight. I have a golden retriever and he has been a wonderful walking companion. Before my surgery, it was hard for my to get up off the couch and walk across the room (seriously). Maybe I will need a tummy tuck, breast lift, etc. when I get to goal, I don't know. But, so far, I am really amazed and will keep up the exercise. I am a self-pay and don't have the money for the surgeries, so I'm hoping the exercise will help. Keep up the good work.
