Saw Dr Boone on 4/15/05, he told me that I am doing great. I have lost 50 pounds and 50% of my body weight. And that I should be at 65% to 70% of my body weight at the 1 year appointment. The soreness on my left side, he thinks, is just scaring where he did the surgery on the inside. The hair lose starts about a month after the surgery. It is that your body is changing, and pulls protein from anywhere it can. When hair comes in again, that is when the hair begins to fall out. On April 15, 2005 / we went to South Lake Tahoe to see our daughter and her family. It was so nice up there. It snowed on us the morning we left... Brenda
