Plateau - no choice but to wait it through

I have been on a plateau for the last two weeks. This is the first one I have had since my surgery. It has been getting me down a little, but I have been staying the course. It occurred to me today how this plateau is different than times in the past. In the past, I would get discouraged and start eating a little more here and there. I would figure what is the point as I wasn't losing weight anyway. It would be the beginning of the end of my diet. It is different now that I have my tool. I can't eat everything and anything - I have an enforced control. I will continue eating well and exercising and ride this plateau out. I thank God for this tool that will help make this weight loss effort different than times in the past! Mary 302/236/???

I've had many stalls since my surgery 12/7/04. It is difficult to keep to the straight and narrow. But, I have learned to have patience (most of the time) and eventually the scale moves again. Keep up the good work, Sue O.

Mary,,you hang in there!! it will pick up again ,dont worry. I am going to say a prayer just for you tonight,and ask God to help you get going again, ok? So, there it is ..cheer up, you and I both know our prayers will be answered....They have been already just by being here today and losing all the weight you have already lost.
