losing my hair
Mine is also starting to fall out some, luckily not by the hadfuls, as it is VERY thin anyway, and I barely have a handful. I have been taking Biotin nightly since I got home from the hospital, and I do try to make sure I get my protien in. I wish I could afford the Biotin, but even from Walmarts Hair Shoppe, it is pretty expensive.
Good Luck Brenda, and know that you are not alone!

There is more hair on my bathroom floor that on my head!!! I have talked to my doctor about this and he said there is really nothing you can do, it is the body's response to the anesthesia from surgery. I do recall that after my hysterectomy I lost a lot of hair. It did eventually stop and the hair that grew back was just beautiful. I say was because it is all falling out now. It is depressing, but I refuse to get stressed out about it. If I loose my hair because of surgery, I think it is ok, because I am not loosing my hair due to cancer. Now that would be something to be upset about. It is only hair and it does grow back, thicker and better. Cheer up everyone...if we all go bald, we can start a support group for skinny bald people!
