They Fit!!

I got some cheap shorts yesterday from a thrift store ... I grabbed 24's and 22's thinking I would eventually shrink into them... OMG!!! They fit.. the 22's fit!! (i redid my profile) Hope everyone is doing well!! Sorry haven't been around much...

WAY TO GO BROOKE I'm do for some new pants but am holding off until my darling husband gets well and we get some money flowing back into our house. Keep up the good work. Hugs Donna

Yeah I'm on a very limited income, but these shorts were like a dollar each!! too good to pass up... (now I just hope they still fit by summer time actually... I don't hehehe)

Ahhh, my favorite place in the whole world, the thrift store! I have been buying jeans that are 3 sizes too small, and now I am into the ones I first bought a few months ago. I always try them on as soon as I get home, even knowing that they will not fit. But I try them weekly, and when they do fit, it is an accomplishment! I am into my 20's now, with my 18's and 16's waiting for me in my closet. I need to go back ~Dianna~ 344/314/244/140

I did the same thing. Bought some 18's in January and was able to wear them for the first time this weekend. Feels great. Guess I better start stalking the thrift stores for 16's now. Karen G 294 / 232 / ???

Yeah I agree, it's ridiculous to go to pay full price for pants you can only wear for a month or so... I love the thrift stores!!

All right Brooke, this is exciting news. I cleaned out my closets, boxes, drawers, and old luggage over the weekend. I filled 15 bags with old clothes that no longer fit or will ever fit again. I have a few smaller size items but no much. I need to dress for work each day so I need a varied upbeat wardrobe. I have gone from a 32 to now a 22/24. I found that with some of my smaller size clothes I passed right through them, never thinking that they would fit. Hurrah for us all. I have a huge Salvation Army thrift store near by and I will be dropping off my old stuff and searching for some new duds. Monica
