WHAT THE F@@@##% IS GOING ON?
Ok, is it ONLY me, or has everyone hit a stand still? One day my weight is 286, the next day it is 290... 291 and down to 287. D@#%. I can't get a handle on this.
I know, I know... up your work out, your protein and water... hard to do when your pouch is saying 'enough'!
Excuse my rants and raves, but now that I am back at work, my energy level has definately hit a wall. Any suggestions, beside the ones mentioned.
My food intake is STILL in 1-2 meals per day... and water, is definately DOWN below 64 oz.
My scale needs a rest, but until I can see some consistancies... I'll make it my BEST FRIEND.
Just need a few Buddies to give me a few pointers, because this is a bit much, even for Vera!
Vera,
(Crew Encourager needs encouraging... how about that!)
You need to chill with getting on the scale everyday. It will drive you insane. I used to weigh every wed. & sun. And now I do it once a week. I was losing my mind everyday SO STOP IT!!!!
I am still VERY tired from work and I went back the 3rd week in January. My advice now that you are working, take a nap when you get home or lay on the couch for an hour....take some time for yourself.
As far as the water.... I give myself a deadline....I need to have 32oz done by 3pm and the other 32 before I go to bed which is around 10pm. And I do not go to bed until 64 ozs is in me.
I have also realized that I will not lose any weight for a few days.... your body needs to catch up.
Be STRONG AND STAY POSITIVE.......YOU ROCK VERA!!!

Hey Vera,
I know what you mean. I am a slave to that *&$% scale!! I am putting it away tonite. I get on it everytime I walk by it. I am also tired. Just plain tired.
I was stuck for 3 weeks and then overnight it was dropping again. I do know that if I keep up with 3 protein shakes a day (YUCK) I don't plateau as bad. Hope this helps... you are not alone!!! Cheryl

We were all wondering what had happened to you!
First of all, you have got to get tha****er in and that protein. Why are you only eating 2 times a day. Sometimes I eat 6 times, small portion and not full meals but protein, protein, protein. Do not let returning to work be the bad guy. We have all had to learn to incorporate our goals into the work day. Goals being daily vitamins, water water water, and protein and food.
This journey is long, and we must adjust the work day, everyday into our lives, just as we adjust our bra straps when they fall down or we get wedgies in our butt checks from our undies.
Come on VERA, get with it, take control, you are such an empowdered women, you are the MOTIVATOR. Since we love ya, we are not holding back we are motivating you with our wills to get back on the track. Be strong, be committed, drink, eat, be merry, and be our Vera.

I would be chasing after you ,but you have a man. Now keep your head up and get back on track.!!! God bless you ....ron in Arizona
I restrict my weigh-ins to once-per-week. I weigh in only on Sunday mornings at 11:00 am. Keeping the time the same, as weight fluctuates at various times of the day. I try and take the focus off the scale. Making "water" my best friend, instead.
Focus on the day-to-day issues, such as protein and water intake. Try using www.Fitday.com for a while to track your intake. It will provide you with valuable information regarding the nutritional value of your daily intake. It will also tell you if you are getting enough food value. I intake between 1000 - 1200 calories per day, with a protein count of about 80 grams. This works for me. You might be different. Try it and see what works best for you. You can also track your physical activity on this site and determine how many extra calories you are able to burn off through increased physical activity.
You are a great inspiration. I love reading your posts.

Vera,
Honey, you have got to get in 900-1000 calories a day! If not your body will think it is starving and not let go of a pound. I know you can't possibly be getting in that many calories with only 1-2 meals a day. You must also get your liquid in or the fat cannot be flushed out.
As for the stall. I completely feel your pain! I went almost 6 weeks of only losing a total of 3 pounds. My stall finally broke the other day with a loss of four pounds in two days. Stay the course - water and protein. The stall will end. In the meantime - do not weigh yourself more than once a week - it will drive you insane. Our bodies have to catch up with the loss. You are probably losing inches.
On a positive note - you are doing wonderful and we all you - hang in there - it will come off!
