Things I am thankful for
Hello Gang:
Well I got up this morning and got on the scale and nothing the scales have not backed up not an ounce. It's enough to make you .
Then I decided that instead of being depressed I won't to give thanks for what has happened so far.
I had an ingrown toe nail this week and I was able to cut it out. For it has been a long, long time since I could even reach my toes, let alone stay in the position required to preform this task. I can now tie my shoes without coming up for air 4 times. When I check my blood pressure and it is 110/70 constantly, without taking BP meds anymore. When I have gone from a 3xl shirt to an xl, From a 48 pants to a 42, from a 3xl pair of sweat pants to a large, even when I realize that I don't have to take cholesterol meds anymore because mine has dropped from 240 to 160. When I think that now I have to worry about getting enough to eat instead of worring about how much I eat and having a heart attack from all the fats that clog your arteries I for joy as heart desease is a family trait and my Dad had open heart surgery twice before he died and my brother who is 2 years younger than I, has had OH surgery several years ago. Yet when I had a heart cath. done I had no blockage. When I check my blood sugar level and it stays around 80 even though diabetes runs in my family. How blessed am I and I know that I am getting better because I am eating healthier living healthier. So just because The scales might not have moved this week but I have a lot to be thankful for. (Also I found out this week that I am no longer morbidly obese, I am now only severely obese and when is it that we celebrate that, only when it is better than where you were!)
I guess in the whole realm of things we losers really have a lot to be thankful for and so it is with this, that I before the Lord Jesus Christ in Awh of what he has used Dr. Freeman to help accomplish in my life and for all that is to come I am sooo sooo Thankful.
So what about all of you, what have you got to be thankful for? Let's hear it. Your Loser Friend, James
Hi James, what an inspiration that was for me. I am thankful that minus 69 pounds, I was able to cross country ski with my husband last week, bought size 16 jeans and ...I tucked in my shirt. What a big deal that was for me. I would never, ever do that before.
I am thankful that my kids can put their arms around me for a hug, and I am so thankful that I am no longer considered having high blood pressure or diabetes. I am also thankful that my Doctor put on my chart that I am "a normal female" (ok, maybe not that one!! LOL).
I also am thankful that the lord enabled my dr. to perform my surgery so well that I have no complications and he has made it possible for me to live a fruitful life.
Keep up the good work!
Cheryl

Hi James,
First I would like to say that I'm thankful for my Lord Jesus Christ who took on my sins and died in my place , and who arose and over came death, hell and the grave so that I could have eternal life. Next I'm thankful for my husband, children, grandchildren and family. And I'm thankful that I no longer have to take my diabetic medication, and that my neuropathy seems to have all but gone away. I'm thankful that God gave people like my doctor the skill to preform this type of surgery. I'm thankful that I live in the good old USA. And I'm thankful for the roof over my head, the shoes on my feet and the food I have to eat. I'm thankful for all my needs being met. I'm thankful for all the blessings I've had and those to come. And last but not least, I'm thankful for all of you here on
this site that have been so helpful in this journey. May God Bless all of you and Have a Blessed Easter. NannaS
